theheard’s mission is to create an inclusive community focused on positive beauty, health, and wellness experiences. These guidelines are applicable to our website available at https://theheard.co (the “Site”) and our mobile application (the “App”). To make these Community Guidelines easier to read, we refer to the Site and App collectively as the “Services”. All users must abide by the Terms of Service available at https://theheard.co/terms (the “Terms”), and all capitalized terms used herein have the meanings stated in the Terms, unless stated otherwise.

We retain the right to remove from the Services any users or material for any reason and using our sole discretion. Additionally, to maintain a welcoming space for all users of the Services, you agree to abide by the following guiding principles when using the Services:

Make recommendations only. theheard is about sharing recommendations about specific service providers or businesses (“Service Providers”) that you have used. If you wouldn’t recommend a specific Service Provider to a friend, please don’t share it on theheard.

Use a real profile photo. No bots, only thoughts. To build a community of trustworthy recommendations from real people, we require our users to add real profile pictures of themselves. You hereby agree not to use a picture of someone else as your profile picture.

No bullying, hateful language, or discrimination. We have a zero-tolerance policy for hateful behavior, bullying, and discrimination of any kind.

Please review theheard’s Terms for a full list of prohibitions and restrictions on usage of the Services. Failure to comply with the Community Guidelines may result in losing access to theheard app. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to remove or disable access to any content, including User Content, at any time and without notice, including, but not limited to, if we, at our sole discretion, consider it objectionable or in violation of these Community Guidelines or our Terms.
